Introducing Thunderbirds is the very first Thunderbirds audio mini-album, released in 1965 to coincide with the launch of Gerry Anderson's iconic television series. Rather than being a soundtrack album, it presents an original adventure in which Lady Penelope and Parker are welcomed to Tracy Island by Jeff Tracy, who introduces them to International Rescue and the remarkable Thunderbird machines. Featuring the original voice cast, including Sylvia Anderson, Peter Dyneley and David Graham, this release has become one of the most sought-after pieces of Thunderbirds memorabilia.

Original 1965 UK first pressing on Century 21 Records, catalogue number MA 103. Pressed by Pye Records, the release was issued as a 7-inch 33⅓ RPM Mini Album, offering approximately 21 minutes of adventure over two sides. It was the first of nineteen Thunderbirds mini-albums produced between 1965 and 1967 and established the hugely successful Century 21 audio series.

Complete copies with the original laminated flipback picture sleeve are increasingly difficult to find in excellent condition. As the inaugural Thunderbirds record, MA 103 remains one of the most desirable titles in the Century 21 catalogue and is highly prized by collectors of Gerry Anderson memorabilia.
