Description
Thunder And Lightning is the twelfth and final studio album released by Thin Lizzy. Issued in 1983, the album introduced a heavier sound to the band's music, driven by the addition of guitarist John Sykes. Featuring standout tracks such as "The Sun Goes Down", "Cold Sweat" and the title track "Thunder And Lightning", the album serves as a powerful conclusion to one of the most influential rock bands of the 1970s and 1980s.
Pressing Notes
UK Vertigo Records pressing issued under catalogue number VERL 3. As Thin Lizzy's final studio album before the band's initial breakup, original pressings have become increasingly collectible. The album is notable for its harder-edged sound and features some of Phil Lynott's final recordings with the band.
