Description
Electric Ladyland is the third and final studio album by The Jimi Hendrix Experience and one of the most celebrated albums in rock history. Originally released in 1968, it was the band's most ambitious studio recording and Jimi Hendrix's only album to be produced entirely by Hendrix himself.
The album features an extraordinary collection of Hendrix classics, including And The Gods Made Love, Crosstown Traffic, Voodoo Chile, All Along The Watchtower, Burning Of The Midnight Lamp and Voodoo Child (Slight Return).
This copy is the highly sought-after banned/nude sleeve edition, featuring the controversial photograph of naked women that was withdrawn and replaced for later issues. The Polydor pressing makes this a particularly interesting collector's edition of one of Hendrix's definitive albums.
