The Beatles’ second studio album, With The Beatles, originally released in November 1963 and recorded during the band’s phenomenal rise to worldwide fame.
This original UK mono edition was released on Parlophone PMC 1206 and features the classic black and yellow Parlophone labels. The album contains 14 tracks, combining original Lennon & McCartney compositions with carefully selected covers.
The album includes Beatles classics such as “It Won’t Be Long”, “All My Loving”, “Don’t Bother Me”, “Roll Over Beethoven”, “Till There Was You” and “Money”.
The original UK mono sleeve features Robert Freeman’s iconic black-and-white Beatles portrait and the distinctive large “mono” text on the front. Original copies were issued with an Emitex inner sleeve.

Original 1963 UK mono pressing on Parlophone, catalogue number PMC 1206.
The earliest mono pressings feature the black and yellow Parlophone label and the large “mono” text on the front sleeve. Early copies are known with the XEX 447-1N / XEX 448-1N “loud cut” matrices, although matrix details are omitted from this listing unless specifically provided.
The original sleeve was manufactured by either Garrod & Lofthouse or Ernest J. Day & Co., with the album supplied with an Emitex inner sleeve.
