The Beatles’ fourth studio album, Beatles For Sale, originally released in the UK on 4 December 1964 during the height of Beatlemania.
This is the original UK first-press stereo edition, released on Parlophone with catalogue number PCS 3062. The first pressing features the original black and yellow Parlophone labels with “The Parlophone Co. Ltd.” rim text, “Recording First Published 1964” and “Sold in U.K.” text.
The album features classic Beatles recordings including “No Reply”, “I’m A Loser”, “Baby’s In Black”, “Eight Days A Week”, “I’ll Follow The Sun” and “I Don’t Want To Spoil The Party”.
The original stereo edition was housed in the distinctive front and back laminated gatefold sleeve with internal flipbacks, with the word “stereo” printed in outline on the front.
