Description
Abbey Road is The Beatles' iconic final recorded studio album, released in September 1969. Featuring Come Together, Something, Here Comes The Sun, I Want You (She's So Heavy) and the famous medley on Side Two, it remains one of the band's most celebrated albums.
Pressing Notes
This is an early 1969 UK Apple Records pressing, catalogue PCS 7088, distinguished by “Her Majesty” being printed on the Side 2 label. The song was originally intended to remain uncredited, so the earliest label variation does not list it; subsequent copies added the credit.
The record is housed in the original-style fully laminated UK sleeve. Early copies are particularly desirable to Beatles collectors, and the precise pressing can be identified from the matrix numbers and sleeve variation.
