Coming Up is the third studio album by Suede and one of the defining albums of the Britpop era. Originally released in 1996, it marked a new chapter for the band following the departure of Bernard Butler, with Richard Oakes joining on guitar and Neil Codling on keyboards.
The album became Suede's first UK number one album and produced five major singles: "Trash", "Beautiful Ones", "Lazy", "Filmstar" and "Saturday Night".
Combining glam rock, alternative rock and classic British indie songwriting, Coming Up remains one of Suede's most celebrated and commercially successful albums.
