You're The One is the third solo studio album from Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Rhiannon Giddens, released in August 2023. It is her first album made up entirely of original songs, bringing together influences from folk, blues, country, gospel, jazz, Cajun and rock.
Produced by Jack Splash, the album features a rich ensemble of musicians including Francesco Turrisi, Dirk Powell, Jason Sypher and Niwel Tsumbu, alongside horns, strings, accordion, guitars and percussion. The result is a vibrant and expansive collection that draws on the traditions of American music while giving them a contemporary setting.
The album includes the title track "You're The One", as well as "Yet To Be", featuring Jason Isbell, and "Another Wasted Life".
