Vinyl Record Care & Cleaning

  • Store records upright in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat.
  • Always handle records by the edges and label.
  • Remove dust with a velvet record brush before and after each play.
  • Spray a small amount of vinyl record cleaner onto a microfibre cloth (not directly onto the record).
  • Wipe gently in the direction of the grooves using the microfibre cloth.
  • Let the record air dry completely before placing it back in its sleeve.
  • Keep records in clean inner sleeves and return them to their covers after use.

Description

Bat Out Of Hell is Meat Loaf’s legendary 1977 debut album, created in collaboration with songwriter Jim Steinman and producer Todd Rundgren. One of the defining albums of theatrical rock, it combines huge orchestral arrangements, powerful vocals, dramatic storytelling and Steinman’s epic songwriting.

The album became a landmark release and remains one of the best-selling rock albums of all time. It features some of Meat Loaf’s most enduring recordings, including the title track, “You Took The Words Right Out Of My Mouth (Hot Summer Night)”, “Heaven Can Wait”, “Two Out Of Three Ain’t Bad” and the epic “Paradise By The Dashboard Light”.

The original UK vinyl edition contains seven tracks and was issued in a picture sleeve with lyric insert.
