Description
Swiss Movement is the legendary live collaboration between pianist and vocalist Les McCann and tenor saxophonist Eddie Harris, recorded at the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland in June 1969.
The album captures a remarkable, largely spontaneous performance featuring Benny Bailey on trumpet, Leroy Vinnegar on bass and Donald Dean on drums. The session became one of the most celebrated live soul-jazz recordings of its era, with the energetic performance of Compared To What becoming one of Les McCann's signature recordings.
This audiophile edition has been produced by Analogue Productions as part of the Atlantic 75 series and is cut at 45 RPM across two heavyweight 180g LPs.

The first 2,000 copies are individually numbered on the back of the jacket and were pressed at Quality Record Pressings. The edition is presented in a heavyweight gatefold jacket and uses the original analogue master tape.
