Vinyl Record Care & Cleaning

  • Store records upright in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat.
  • Always handle records by the edges and label.
  • Remove dust with a velvet record brush before and after each play.
  • Spray a small amount of vinyl record cleaner onto a microfibre cloth (not directly onto the record).
  • Wipe gently in the direction of the grooves using the microfibre cloth.
  • Let the record air dry completely before placing it back in its sleeve.
  • Keep records in clean inner sleeves and return them to their covers after use.

White Music is the energetic debut album by XTC, released in January 1978. Produced by John Leckie, the album was recorded at The Manor Studios in Oxfordshire. Original UK pressings include the printed lyric inner sleeve and are highly regarded for their lively analogue sound and dynamic production.
