Vinyl Record Care & Cleaning

  • Store records upright in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat.
  • Always handle records by the edges and label.
  • Remove dust with a velvet record brush before and after each play.
  • Spray a small amount of vinyl record cleaner onto a microfibre cloth (not directly onto the record).
  • Wipe gently in the direction of the grooves using the microfibre cloth.
  • Let the record air dry completely before placing it back in its sleeve.
  • Keep records in clean inner sleeves and return them to their covers after use.

Achtung Baby is U2's groundbreaking seventh studio album and is widely regarded as one of the band's greatest achievements. Released in 1991, it marked a dramatic reinvention of the group's sound, blending alternative rock, industrial influences and electronic textures while retaining the powerful songwriting that made them one of the world's biggest bands.

Recorded primarily at Hansa Studios in Berlin and produced by Daniel Lanois and Brian Eno, the album features classics including One, Mysterious Ways, The Fly, Even Better Than The Real Thing, Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses and Until The End Of The World.

Original 1991 UK pressing on Island Records, catalogue number U28.

This copy features the sought-after original sleeve displaying the uncensored Adam Clayton nude photograph within Anton Corbijn's iconic collage artwork. Later editions altered or obscured this image, making the original artwork especially desirable among collectors.

Original UK single LP pressings from the album's initial release remain highly collectible and are prized by U2 collectors worldwide.
