Gutter Ballet is Savatage's fifth studio album and a major turning point in the band's sound, moving towards the progressive and theatrical style that would become central to their later work. Featuring Gutter Ballet, When The Crowds Are Gone, Of Rage And War and Hounds, it remains one of the band's most acclaimed releases.

Pressing Notes

This is the original-period Atlantic Records European vinyl pressing, catalogue 782 008-1, manufactured in Germany. The album was recorded between February and July 1989, although production delays meant that the UK and US release dates fell in January 1990.

The original LP contains the 10-track album. Thorazine Shuffle was issued as a bonus track on the original CD and cassette versions rather than the original vinyl LP.
