- Store records upright in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat.
- Always handle records by the edges and label.
- Remove dust with a velvet record brush before and after each play.
- Spray a small amount of vinyl record cleaner onto a microfibre cloth (not directly onto the record).
- Wipe gently in the direction of the grooves using the microfibre cloth.
- Let the record air dry completely before placing it back in its sleeve.
- Keep records in clean inner sleeves and return them to their covers after use.

Steve McQueen is Prefab Sprout's acclaimed second studio album, originally released in 1985. Produced principally by Thomas Dolby, it features some of the band's most celebrated songs, including Faron Young, Bonny, Appetite and When Love Breaks Down.
The album reached No.21 in the UK Albums Chart and has since become regarded as a classic of sophisticated 1980s British pop.
Pressing Notes
This is the original 1985 UK Kitchenware Records vinyl pressing, catalogue KWLP3. Original copies were issued with the album's distinctive picture sleeve and an illustrated credits inner sleeve.
The UK original is particularly desirable to collectors compared with later reissues, including the subsequent 180g remastered editions.
