Description

Ummagumma is Pink Floyd's ambitious fourth album, originally released in 1969. The double LP is split between a live album, featuring recordings from performances at Mothers Club in Birmingham and Manchester College of Commerce, and a studio album where each member contributed individually composed material.

The live recordings include powerful versions of Astronomy Domine, Careful With That Axe, Eugene, Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun and A Saucerful Of Secrets, while the studio album showcases the band's experimental side with compositions from Roger Waters, David Gilmour, Richard Wright and Nick Mason.
