Meddle is the sixth studio album by Pink Floyd and one of the most important records in the band's musical development. Released in 1971, the album bridges the experimental sound of the group's earlier work with the atmospheric and progressive style that would soon define their landmark 1970s albums.

Early 1971 UK pressing on Harvest Records, catalogue number SHVL 795.

This copy features the unusual and desirable SHVL 795 A-3 / SHVL 795 B-1U matrix combination. The B-1U matrix retains the original first-cut Side Two lacquer, while Side One features the later A-3 cut.

Housed in the distinctive textured gatefold sleeve, this original-era UK Harvest pressing is an attractive early variant of Meddle. The A-3/B-1U matrix combination is documented on UK copies from the album's original release period.
