Description
Mack 10 is the self-titled debut studio album from Los Angeles rapper Mack 10, originally released in June 1995 on Priority Records. A strong example of mid-1990s West Coast hip-hop, the album combines hard-edged gangsta rap with the bass-heavy G-funk production associated with the era.
The album features production from Ice Cube, Mack 10, DJ Crazy Toones, Dr. Jam, Madness 4 Real and the 88 X Unit, with guest appearances from Ice Cube, WC and K-Dee. Highlights include “Foe Life,” “Wanted Dead,” “On Them Thangs” and “Westside Slaughterhouse.”
The album reached No. 33 on the Billboard 200 and was certified Gold in the US.
