Description
Lifestyles Of The Rich Kids On LSD: A Rock N Roll Nightmare is the landmark 1987 album from Californian hardcore punk band Rich Kids On LSD (RKL).
The album marked a significant progression from the band's earlier raw Nardcore sound, incorporating elements of rock, metal and technically demanding musicianship while retaining the speed and aggression of their hardcore punk roots.
Produced by Mark Deutrom with RKL, the album features Jason Sears, Chris Rest, Barry "D'live" Ward and Bomer Manzullo. Manzullo handled both drums and bass guitar on the recording.
The original Alchemy release is particularly sought after for its elaborate packaging, which included a 32-page comic and lyric book illustrated by Dan Sites.
