Description
The Most Beautifullest Thing In This World / Get Lifted is a classic mid-1990s hip-hop 12" from Keith Murray, released on Jive Records. Produced by Erick Sermon, the record showcases Murray's distinctive lyrical style over the soulful, sample-driven production associated with the Def Squad sound.
“The Most Beautifullest Thing In This World” was released as Murray's debut single and became one of his signature tracks, built around a prominent sample of The Isley Brothers' “Between The Sheets.” The following single, “Get Lifted,” further established Murray's profile and is also produced by Erick Sermon.
This UK 12" brings together radio and remix versions of both tracks, making it a particularly desirable example of Murray's early vinyl output.
