Closer is the haunting second and final studio album by Joy Division and one of the most influential records in post-punk history.

Released in July 1980, shortly after the death of vocalist Ian Curtis, the album marked the end of Joy Division while cementing their legacy as one of the most important British bands of their generation. This copy is housed in the later non-textured sleeve and features the desirable "OLD BLUE?" hand-etched runout inscription, one of the distinctive deadwax messages associated with early UK Factory pressings.

Designed by Peter Saville and produced by Martin Hannett, Closer is regarded as one of the finest-sounding and most iconic releases in the Factory Records catalogue.
