Description

The Hissing Of Summer Lawns is Joni Mitchell's seventh studio album and one of the most acclaimed and adventurous recordings of her career. Released in 1975, the album expanded upon the jazz-influenced direction of Court And Spark, incorporating experimental arrangements, synthesizers and world music elements. Featuring tracks such as "In France They Kiss On Main Street", "Edith And The Kingpin", "The Jungle Line" and the title track, the album is now widely regarded as one of Mitchell's masterpieces.
