Description

Pleasure is the sole studio album by Leeds post-punk band Girls At Our Best!, originally released in 1981. Combining infectious pop melodies, angular guitars and Judy Evans' distinctive vocals, the album has become a highly regarded release from the early UK post-punk and indie scene.

This limited Optic Nerve Recordings edition expands the original album across two LPs. The first record contains the complete original Pleasure album, while the second record is pressed at 45 RPM and brings together the band's singles and B-sides.

The release is particularly striking for its transparent yellow vinyl with pink, red and blue splatter, making it a desirable collector's edition.

Pressing Notes

Limited numbered Optic Nerve Recordings double-LP edition, originally released in 2014. The set features the original 11-track album on the first LP and the band's singles and B-sides on the second LP.

The package includes a gatefold sleeve, printed inner sleeves containing lyrics, photographs and an interview, together with the Pleasure Bag containing postcards, stickers, a stencil, reproduction posters, a press photograph and press flyer.
