Anthems To The Welkin At Dusk is the legendary second studio album by Norwegian black metal pioneers Emperor, originally released in 1997. Widely regarded as one of the defining albums of symphonic black metal, it combines ferocious guitar work, blast-beat drumming, atmospheric keyboards and grandiose arrangements.

The album features essential Emperor tracks including Ye Entrancemperium, Thus Spake The Nightspirit, The Loss And Curse Of Reverence and With Strength I Burn.

This is the original 1997 UK Candlelight Records vinyl pressing, catalogue CANDLE 023. Contemporary discographical information identifies this edition as a limited 12" vinyl release of 3,000 copies.

The original vinyl contains the complete eight-track album over two sides. This should not be confused with the numerous later Candlelight vinyl reissues, including coloured-vinyl and remastered editions.
