The album was released at a time when Elvis's recording output was dominated by his film soundtracks. It provided listeners with a collection of previously unreleased and less readily available recordings, showcasing several different periods of his career.
The UK edition features twelve tracks, including Your Cheatin' Heart, Wild In The Country, Finders Keepers, Losers Weepers, Tomorrow Night, Memphis Tennessee, I Met Her Today and When It Rains, It Really Pours.
