Out Of The Blue is ELO's seventh studio album and one of their most celebrated releases. Originally issued in 1977, the double album features some of Jeff Lynne's best-known compositions, including Mr. Blue Sky, Turn To Stone, Sweet Talkin' Woman and Wild West Hero.

This is the original 1977 UK pressing on Jet Records, catalogue JETDP 400 / UAR 100. The original package was issued as a gatefold double LP with two lyric inner sleeves

There are a number of early UK variations, including mixed combinations of Jet and United Artists sleeves and labels. The earliest 1977 issue had UAR 100 (JTLA 823) printed on the rear of the gatefold sleeve, while later copies used JETDP 400.
