Description
Wasa Wasa is the extraordinary debut album by the Edgar Broughton Band, originally released in 1969 on EMI's legendary Harvest Records label.
A raw and uncompromising blend of psychedelic rock, heavy blues, acid rock and proto-punk, the album captures the band at their most experimental and confrontational. From the explosive opening of Death Of An Electric Citizen through to the epic Dawn Crept Away, the record showcases the band's distinctive approach to heavy British underground rock.
The album was produced by Peter Jenner and features Edgar Broughton on vocals and guitar, Arthur Grant on bass and Steve Broughton on drums.
This is the original UK Harvest pressing, a highly desirable release for collectors of British psychedelic and progressive rock.
