Description

The Principle Of Evil Made Flesh is the legendary debut studio album by British extreme metal band Cradle Of Filth, originally released on Cacophonous Records in February 1994. It captures the band in their raw early black-metal era, blending aggressive riffs with gothic atmosphere and Dani Filth's distinctive vocals.

A hugely influential early release, the album features The Forest Whispers My Name, The Black Goddess Rises, A Crescendo Of Passion Bleeding and the title track.

This is the original 1994 UK Cacophonous Records vinyl pressing, catalogue NIHIL 1 LP. The original LP was limited to just 1,000 copies, making it considerably scarcer than the numerous later reissues.

Original copies feature the album's distinctive early Cacophonous presentation and the original 11-track vinyl programme. Later editions altered the format, artwork and/or included additional material, so this 1994 pressing is particularly sought after by collectors.
