Description:
Tusk is Fleetwood Mac's ambitious and hugely influential twelfth studio album, released in October 1979 as the follow-up to the phenomenal success of Rumours. Produced by Fleetwood Mac, the album saw the band move in a more experimental direction, incorporating rock, pop, folk and more unconventional studio techniques.
The double album features an exceptional collection of songs from all three principal songwriters, including Lindsey Buckingham's "Tusk", "The Ledge" and "I Know I'm Not Wrong", Stevie Nicks' "Sara", "Storms" and "Sisters Of The Moon", and Christine McVie's "Over & Over", "Think About Me" and "Brown Eyes".
The title track is particularly notable for its use of the USC Trojan Marching Band, recorded live at Dodger Stadium, giving the song its unmistakable rhythmic character.
This is the original 1979 UK Warner Bros. Records double LP, catalogue K 66088.
