Description

Vanilla Fudge is the landmark 1967 debut album from Vanilla Fudge and one of the most influential psychedelic rock records ever released. Featuring the band's dramatic reinterpretation of "You Keep Me Hangin' On", alongside powerful versions of "Ticket To Ride", "People Get Ready" and "Eleanor Rigby", the album helped lay the foundations for hard rock, progressive rock and heavy metal. The group's distinctive Hammond organ sound and slowed-down arrangements made them one of the most innovative bands of the late 1960s.

Sundazed Music mono reissue pressed on striking blue vinyl under catalogue number LP 5168. This edition recreates the rare original mono mix and was cut by Kevin Gray from the original Atco analogue master tapes. Widely praised by collectors and audiophiles, the mono mix offers a more focused and powerful listening experience than the original stereo version.
