Happy Jack is the American version of The Who's acclaimed 1966 album A Quick One. Released by Decca Records in the United States, the album introduced American audiences to some of the band's finest early material and was named after the hit single "Happy Jack". Unlike the UK release A Quick One, the American Happy Jack album was retitled to capitalise on the success of the hit single.
