Feline is the seventh studio album by The Stranglers and marked the band's first release on Epic Records. Released in January 1983, the album introduced a more melodic and atmospheric sound, incorporating acoustic guitars, synthesizers and electronic percussion while retaining the band's distinctive dark edge. The album reached No. 4 on the UK Albums Chart and remains one of the band's most critically acclaimed releases.

Featuring the hit singles European Female (In Celebration Of), Midnight Summer Dream and Paradise, alongside standout tracks Ships That Pass In The Night, Let's Tango In Paris and Never Say Goodbye, Feline is widely regarded as one of the defining post-punk and new wave albums of the early 1980s.

Produced by The Stranglers and Steve Churchyard, the album was recorded at ICP Studios, Brussels. Early UK pressings feature the distinctive embossed picture sleeve and black lyric inner sleeve. Original UK Epic pressings are highly regarded for their excellent analogue sound and remain the preferred edition for collectors.
