Boss Drum is the landmark fifth studio album by The Shamen and one of the defining electronic dance albums of the early 1990s. Released in September 1992, it fused rave, techno, house, psychedelia and pop into a groundbreaking record that propelled the band into the mainstream. The album reached No. 3 on the UK Albums Chart and was later certified Platinum in the UK.
