Description
Some Girls is the fourteenth studio album by The Rolling Stones and one of the defining rock albums of the late 1970s. Originally released in 1978, the album saw the Stones embracing elements of rock, blues, country, punk and disco while retaining the raw, swaggering sound that had become their trademark.
The album opens with the disco-influenced classic “Miss You” and continues with a collection of energetic Stones originals and distinctive covers, including their celebrated version of “Just My Imagination (Running Away With Me)”.
This original UK pressing is particularly desirable for collectors as it comes with the uncensored die-cut sleeve and original uncensored picture inner sleeve, featuring the controversial celebrity images that were subsequently withdrawn and replaced following objections from several of the celebrities and their estates.
A fantastic example of one of The Rolling Stones’ most collectible and instantly recognisable albums.

The distinctive die-cut sleeve features the colourful celebrity-themed artwork, while this version retains the original uncensored picture inner sleeve. The uncensored inner was withdrawn shortly after release and replaced with a censored version, making complete original copies particularly sought after by collectors.
The UK pressing was manufactured and distributed by EMI and is a stereo recording.
