Beer & Sex & Chips 'N' Gravy is the second studio album by cult Cheshire punk band The Macc Lads. Originally released in 1985, the album perfectly captures the group's irreverent humour, pub-rock attitude and punk energy, featuring fan favourites including Beer & Sex & Chips 'N' Gravy, Boddies, England's Glory, Nagasaki Sauce and Twenty Pints. While controversial for its tongue-in-cheek lyrical content, the album has become a cult classic of the British punk and comedy rock scene.

Pressing Notes

Original 1987 UK white vinyl reissue on Hectic House Records, catalogue number WKFM LP 56. This copy features the distinctive DM C-0676 A1 / B1 matrix combination with 12-87 mastering date inscriptions, confirming a pressing manufactured in December 1987.

Pressed on white vinyl, this reissue was produced in comparatively small numbers and is considerably scarcer than the standard black vinyl edition. White vinyl copies have become increasingly sought after by collectors of British punk and independent vinyl.
