Description

Loops Of Fury is the classic 1996 EP from The Chemical Brothers and is widely regarded as one of the defining releases of the big beat era. Released between Exit Planet Dust and Dig Your Own Hole, the EP showcased the duo's evolving sound with its ferocious breakbeats, distorted synths and club-focused production. The title track became a fan favourite and helped establish the blueprint for many of the group's later recordings. The EP reached No. 13 on the UK Singles Chart and remains one of the most sought-after Chemical Brothers releases.

Pressing Notes

Original UK first pressing released on Freestyle Dust/Virgin Records under catalogue number CHEMST 3. Issued as a limited-edition 12" EP in January 1996, the release contains four tracks including the classic title track, "(The Best Part Of) Breaking Up", "Get Up On It Like This" and a Dave Clarke remix of "Chemical Beats". Early UK copies are highly regarded by collectors of electronic music and represent a key release from the formative years of the big beat movement.
