Description

The Beatles, universally known as The White Album, is one of the most important and influential albums in popular music history. Released in November 1968, the double album showcases the band at their most creative, spanning rock, blues, folk, country, psychedelia and avant-garde experimentation. Featuring classics such as Back In The U.S.S.R., While My Guitar Gently Weeps, Blackbird, Helter Skelter, Dear Prudence and Happiness Is A Warm Gun, it remains one of the greatest albums ever recorded.

The dedicated mono mix differs significantly from the stereo version, with numerous alternate edits, effects and balances, making it the preferred version for many Beatles collectors and historians.

Early UK numbered mono pressing on Apple Records, catalogue number PMC 7067/7068, complete with the desirable numbered sleeve No. 0094476 and "An E.M.I. Recording" text on both Apple labels.
