Pressing Notes

Original 1963 UK mono first pressing on the highly desirable black and gold Parlophone label. Early first press copies carry catalogue number PMC 1202 and feature the famous gold print labels that were only used for a very short period before being replaced by the black and yellow Parlophone design. True first pressings feature XEX 421-1N and XEX 422-1N matrices and are among the most sought-after Beatles records ever produced. Black and gold label copies remain the holy grail for many Beatles collectors due to their rarity and historical significance.
