Featuring timeless classics including Wouldn't It Be Nice, God Only Knows, Sloop John B, Don't Talk (Put Your Head On My Shoulder) and Caroline, No, Pet Sounds remains an essential cornerstone of any serious vinyl collection.
Pressing Notes
Original 1966 UK stereo pressing on Capitol Records, catalogue number ST 2458. This early UK issue is housed in the desirable front-laminated Garrod & Lofthouse "Patents Pending" flipback sleeve, one of the defining characteristics of the first UK release. Original UK stereo copies were manufactured in far smaller numbers than later reissues and are highly prized by collectors for their superb analogue sound and rarity. The "Patents Pending" credit printed on the rear sleeve identifies one of the earliest Garrod & Lofthouse manufactured covers.
