Originally released in 1977, this iconic double album features the music from George Lucas’s groundbreaking film, including the legendary “Main Title”, “Princess Leia’s Theme”, “Cantina Band”, “The Imperial Attack” and “The Throne Room And End Title”.
This UK edition is particularly interesting as it comes complete with a letter from the record label explaining that the printed track listing is in the incorrect order. This is an unusual and desirable piece of accompanying ephemera for collectors.
The original album was issued as an auto-coupled double LP, with Record One containing Sides 1 and 4 and Record Two containing Sides 2 and 3, allowing the records to be played consecutively on an automatic record changer.
