Rush’s fifth studio album, A Farewell To Kings, originally released in September 1977.
Recorded at Rockfield Studios in Wales, the album continued Rush’s progression towards the ambitious progressive rock sound that would define their classic era. It features the epic “Xanadu”, the enduring classic “Closer To The Heart”, and the sprawling “Cygnus X-1, Book One – The Voyage”.
This is the original UK Mercury pressing, catalogue number 9100 042, housed in the distinctive gatefold sleeve with the illustrated inner sleeve.
