Soundtrack is the second and final studio album by the British psychedelic folk group Principal Edwards Magic Theatre. Released in 1971 on Dandelion Records, the label founded by legendary BBC Radio 1 DJ John Peel, the album blends psychedelic folk, progressive rock and theatrical songwriting into a unique and highly atmospheric recording.
Less common than many contemporary folk releases, Soundtrack has become a sought-after title amongst collectors of the Dandelion label and fans of British underground music from the early 1970s.

Original 1971 UK first pressing on Dandelion Records, catalogue number 2310 054. Issued in a fully laminated picture sleeve, this release was distributed by Polydor and pressed in relatively small numbers. Original UK copies are increasingly difficult to find in strong condition and remain highly desirable with collectors of British psychedelic and progressive folk vinyl.
