The Wall is Pink Floyd's monumental 1979 rock opera and one of the most ambitious and successful concept albums ever recorded. Written primarily by Roger Waters, the album follows the story of Pink, a disillusioned rock star who gradually isolates himself from society behind a metaphorical wall.
