Ocean Colour Scene is the debut studio album by Birmingham band Ocean Colour Scene, originally released in 1992. The album showcases the band's early sound, blending alternative rock, psychedelia, melodic guitar pop and elements of soul before their later transformation into one of the leading bands of the Britpop era.

Featuring Talk On, How About You, Giving It All Away, Justine, Do Yourself A Favour, Sway and One Of Those Days, the album provides an important snapshot of Ocean Colour Scene before their breakthrough success with Moseley Shoals.

Pressing Notes

This 2023 UK limited-edition reissue was released by Demon Records as part of the Yesterday Today 1992–1997 collection. The self-titled debut is presented on blue-coloured vinyl, alongside Moseley Shoals on orange vinyl and Marchin' Already on red vinyl. The complete collection was limited to 1,000 copies, making the blue vinyl edition particularly desirable to collectors.
