Vinyl Record Care & Cleaning

  • Store records upright in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat.
  • Always handle records by the edges and label.
  • Remove dust with a velvet record brush before and after each play.
  • Spray a small amount of vinyl record cleaner onto a microfibre cloth (not directly onto the record).
  • Wipe gently in the direction of the grooves using the microfibre cloth.
  • Let the record air dry completely before placing it back in its sleeve.
  • Keep records in clean inner sleeves and return them to their covers after use.

Description
Original UK 1989 CBS double LP of Aura. Recorded in Copenhagen in 1985, the album was composed and arranged by Danish trumpeter Palle Mikkelborg, with Miles Davis leading a large Danish jazz ensemble. John McLaughlin also appears on guitar.

A really interesting later Miles Davis record, built around the different colours of the spectrum, with tracks including White, Yellow, Orange, Red, Green, Blue, Electric Red, Indigo and Violet.
