Original US Atlantic Records pressing mastered by renowned engineer Robert Ludwig. Commonly known among collectors as the "RL" pressing, these early copies feature Ludwig's initials etched into the deadwax and are considered the definitive sounding version of Led Zeppelin II. Due to the exceptionally hot mastering, many copies were reportedly recalled and replaced with quieter cuts, making genuine RL pressings among the most desirable and valuable Led Zeppelin records ever produced.
