This UK reissue was released by Atlantic Records as a single LP in a laminated sleeve. The album is presented with the classic sepia-toned cover artwork designed by David Juniper, featuring a manipulated photograph of the band alongside figures from the First World War.
The record was produced by Jimmy Page and became one of Led Zeppelin’s most commercially successful releases. It reached No. 1 in the UK Albums Chart and is widely regarded as one of the defining hard-rock albums of the late 1960s.
