- Store records upright in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat.
- Always handle records by the edges and label.
- Remove dust with a velvet record brush before and after each play.
- Spray a small amount of vinyl record cleaner onto a microfibre cloth (not directly onto the record).
- Wipe gently in the direction of the grooves using the microfibre cloth.
- Let the record air dry completely before placing it back in its sleeve.
- Keep records in clean inner sleeves and return them to their covers after use.

Double Platinum is Kiss’s first major compilation album, bringing together some of the band’s most celebrated recordings from their early career.
Originally released by Casablanca Records in 1978, the album features classic Kiss tracks including Strutter, Deuce, Detroit Rock City, Rock And Roll All Nite, Beth, Calling Dr. Love and Shout It Out Loud.
The compilation showcases the band’s theatrical hard-rock sound and became a popular introduction to Kiss’s early catalogue.
Pressing Notes
Original US pressing on Casablanca Records, catalogue NBLP 7100. The album was issued as a 2LP set in a distinctive gatefold sleeve featuring the iconic silver embossed cover design.
The release includes a selection of remixed and edited versions of several songs, alongside a previously unreleased track, Strutter ’78, recorded specifically for the compilation.
