Unlike the UK release, where Atmosphere was issued as the A-side, the American edition places She's Lost Control on the A-side, making it a distinctive and highly collectible Factory Records release. Produced by Martin Hannett, it captures Joy Division during the final studio sessions before Ian Curtis' death in May 1980.
