Thick As A Brick is one of Jethro Tull's most ambitious and celebrated releases. Originally issued in 1972, the album consists of a single continuous composition split across two sides of vinyl. Conceived as a parody of the progressive rock concept album, it became one of the band's most successful and enduring works, showcasing Ian Anderson's songwriting, flute playing and the group's exceptional musicianship.
Pressing Notes
UK Chrysalis Records pressing issued under catalogue number CHR 1003. The album is famous for its elaborate fold-out newspaper-style sleeve, designed to resemble the fictional St. Cleve Chronicle.
