This original 1987 pressing features the infamous withdrawn/banned Robert Williams artwork, which was quickly withdrawn following controversy surrounding the original cover. The album was subsequently reissued with the familiar cross-and-skulls artwork.
A highly sought-after collector's copy of one of rock's most iconic debut albums.
Pressing Notes
Original 1987 UK-market pressing, pressed in Germany for the UK market, with catalogue numbers WX 125 / 924 148-1. The original artwork sleeve was withdrawn shortly after release and replaced with the alternative cross artwork. This early edition is found with the illustrated lyric inner sleeve and original promotional/sticker material on some copies.
The original UK/European pressing contains the complete 12-track album.
